(Ventura, Calif.,) – September 20th, 2023 - Consortium Media, a leading brand development agency, is proud to announce that the company’s founder and leader, Denise Bean-White, was named CEO of the Year by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal (SFVBJ). There were 72 finalists across the five categories presented at the 2023 SFVBJ Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards event, and one winner for each category. As CEO, Bean-White effectively directs and mentors every member of the talented Consortium Media team. The corporate philosophy of Consortium Media is to do well in the world by doing good work. This is evident in Bean-White's work in the Children and Family Services and the Behavioral and Mental Health sector. Consortium Media’s 18 years of work in these areas is based on a heartfelt need to support and change the trajectory of children’s welfare and remove stigma and misunderstanding. Denise has inspired her team to share this passion for making a difference.
“Ten years ago, we shifted to social change and decided that the youth needed us more and I am so glad that I am able to work in that area,” said Bean-White during her acceptance speech. “We try to make an impact every day with several groundbreaking programs for youth mental health, and I could not do this without my team. We want to ensure that you are helping whenever you can, especially with our youth who will be running our world and taking over what we’re leaving them.”
Bean-White expressed her gratitude to everyone who supports her work for socially conscious and change-driven brands and industries, as well as the dedication of the entire team at Consortium Media. She is thrilled to continue delivering exceptional solutions that shift cultural narratives on social issues. With this recognition, Consortium Media will carry on with the work of reimaging brands for real and positive change.
